New belt solves buildup issue, improves freezing, and reduces downtime!

“Here at Bevans Oyster Company we were having a problem with ice building up on our CO2 Freezer tunnel belt. We thought the solution was changing to a flat wire belt, but after discussing this option with my salesperson, Jennifer Noble, I learned that would involve larger diameter sprockets and re-engineering the tunnel belt path which just was not a good idea. After further discussion of the problem, it was determined that the existing mesh did not allow enough CO2 to pass causing ice to accumulate between the weave. Jennifer recommended a new mesh spec and it is installed and is performing as hoped. After many cycles of operation the belt does not ice up nearly as bad which allows for more efficient use of CO2, faster freezing and less down time to clear ice! I found the vast product knowledge of my salesperson to be most helpful in solving these problems.”
