Bakery has eliminated downtime from worn sprockets, misalignment, and tracking flaws.

A large manufacturer of bagels, cakes, pita bread, and pastries called on Cambridge after experiencing problems with a competitor's sprocket-driven balance weave belt. The teeth of the sprockets were wearing out, causing the belt to wander to one side, and creating tracking problems as well as numerous belt replacements. Cambridge evaluated the application and recommended the solid construction of machined stainless sprockets which engage perfectly every time. As a result, downtime related to worn sprockets, misalignment, and tracking problems has been eliminated. Since 2004, the Cambridge belt and sprockets have run trouble-free, with no signs of needed replacement.
